A high-flying Melbourne model who partied with A-list celebrities ended up homeless and in jail after party drugs ruined her life and led her to ruin.

Savannah McKay, 27, had posed alongside Australian tennis legend Pat Rafter and Scream actress Samara Weaving in glossy photoshoots before her drug addiction derailed her career.

McKay drove a luxury Audi and lived in Prahran, in Melbourne’s affluent southern hinterland, while working for brands including The No Bra Club, Bettina and Bonds.

But her sudden fall from grace left her homeless and eventually in jail.

The former private schoolgirl ended up in Melbourne’s notorious Dame Phyllis Frost Center women’s prison after her drug and party addiction took over her life.

McKay previously admitted multiple drug possession offenses and was expected to appear in a Melbourne court on Friday after being accused of stalking her ex-boyfriend.

McKay, who had harassment charges dropped at today’s hearing, had been accused of ringing his apartment doorbell for three hours straight during an alleged month-long campaign of harassment between November and December 2020.

He allegedly subjected his victim to a constant barrage of phone calls and created several Instagram accounts in an attempt to contact his ex.

McKay was also charged with she appeared, uninvited, at the man’s workplace “numerous times” and also changed her ex-partner’s Bumble dating app profile.

The man reported McKay to the police, who tracked down the model while she was working in Prahran and questioned her about allegations of stalking and stalking.

McKay, who refuted the harassment charge, allegedly told police she was in an “on-and-off” relationship with the man but they broke up “three weeks earlier.”

“I can’t get into his building… I remember standing downstairs screaming his name for about 20 minutes,” McKay allegedly told police.

McKay had previously avoided jail in September after pleading guilty to possessing drugs, including ‘child heroin’, multiple times during a criminal binge between November 2020 and June last year.

The court heard she spent a total of 61 days on remand at Dame Phyllis Frost at various times while she was drugged.

McKay was arrested in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, dexamphetamine, valium, LSD and party drugs 1,4 butanediol and GHB and quetiapine, a schizophrenia medication known on the street as ‘Susie Q’ or ‘baby heroin,’ in Melbourne places.

McKay and another woman were found passed out in the parking lot of a Bunnings, where police seized drugs from the model’s black Audi sedan.

McKay, who was also charged with reckless driving, after she allegedly crashed into a Mitsubishi Magna while driving through Richmond in February 2022.

Police alleged McKay also crashed into several Yarra tram signs, a municipal bin and tram seats, but no one was injured.

She was taken to the hospital and allegedly refused a blood test because she had a “phobia” of needles.

The court heard McKay told police he “believed” he had hit an animal or had a rear tire burst, but cops said there was no evidence to support his claims.

She has so far failed to show up for multiple plea hearings scheduled for this year, resulting in the court issuing several arrest warrants for her.

McKay was given a 12-month court order for his drug offenses and will face court to answer the careless driving allegations at a later date.
