Sydneysiders have been urged to check their lottery tickets and two mystery winners are yet to claim their millions.

The two each picked the division one winning entries in Saturday’s Lotto drawing, splitting the $20 million jackpot with eight others who won $2 million.

One of the tickets was bought at an Ezymart on Crystal Street, Waterloo and the other at Kings Cross Newsagency, on Darlinghurst Road.

The winning numbers were 42, 35, 1, 43, 25 and 29 while the supplementary numbers were 19 and 31.

But neither of the two missing winners recorded the tickets on a player card and left The Lott with no way to contact them.

A spokesperson for The Lott said it hoped the winners would come forward soon to claim their prize.

“Our elusive winners are probably unaware of the fact that they each won $2 million in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto drawing,” spokesman Matt Hart said.

‘Imagine how exciting it would be to discover that you are now a billionaire. Your plans for the rest of the year and beyond could change dramatically.’

Saturday’s draw also resulted in 94 Australians winning a second division prize of $12,625.75 for choosing five of the six winning numbers and having a supplementary number.

More than $21 million was awarded to more than 1.6 million Australians who chose the winning tickets from divisions three to six.

It comes as the search continues for a West Australian who won the $30 million Division One jackpot in Thursday’s Powerball draw.

The Division One prize pool rose to $30 million after two weeks without winners, with the sole winner taking the full amount.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 134 million, requiring players to match all seven winning numbers plus the Powerball in a single game.

Lottery winners were urged to claim their prizes within a year of the draw after an Australian man lost $1 million in September.

The winning ticket was purchased at a BP in the northern Adelaide suburb of Mawson Lakes on September 27, 2023.

But the winner did not present the winning ticket after a year and lost it to the local state lottery commission.
