Saturday Kitchen viewers are left in hysterics after Mel B gives a BRUTALLY honest review of the food as she exclaims it’s “awful” before SPITTING out her food in a chaotic spectacle.

Fans were left in hysterics after Mel B gave a pretty honest review of the food on Saturday Kitchen.

Mel joined host Matt Tebutt as a celebrity guest on the BBC show and didn’t hold back as she gave her brutal review of the food while doing everything she could to avoid eating it and complaining about the grease in the bacon.

The show’s celebrities face gastronomic heaven or gastronomic hell, as the public chooses.

And although the Spice Girl had expected her dietary heaven of ox cheek and collard greens, she instead received her hell: heavy carbonara.

As he served the pasta dish, Matt began to tell viewers how he evoked the dish, explaining, “I added enough pasta water to make a sort of creamy sauce, without cream,’ before Mel interrupted him by making vomiting noises in the background.

Fans were left in hysterics after Mel B gave a BRUTALLY honest food review on Saturday Kitchen as she exclaimed it was “awful” before SPITTING out her food in a chaotic display.

Upon receiving his meal from hell, carbonara, host Matt Tebutt began telling viewers how he conjured the dish, before Mel interrupted him by making vomiting noises in the background.

The TV chef served the Italian dish with a salad that also didn’t meet Mel’s approval.

She asked, ‘See, that has that itch, what is the name of that thing that has that bitter taste?’

“Delicious,” Matt suggested as he explained, “Oh, that’s fennel and chicory.”

“Horrible,” Mel exclaimed passionately, adding, “I just want some nice iceberg lettuce, plain, with salad cream.”

After delaying eating the food, before tasting his carbonara he asked: ‘Are there mushrooms in this? Shouldn’t there be mushrooms in a carbonara?

As Matt explained: “Only in a British carbonara,” she jokingly replied: “Well, that’s where we are, we’re in Britain.”

Then he added: ‘You didn’t trim the fat off the bacon, look at that!’ while he held some meat on his fork.

As the show ran out of time and the credits began to roll, Mel looked unimpressed with her food as she spit it out and swapped it with another guest, before pleading: “Please cook my meat now that we’re done.” ‘

The Spice Girl had expected her meal to be heaven of ox cheek and sprouts, but instead she received her hell: heavy carbonara and a salad she described as “horrible”.

Mel didn’t seem too impressed with her hell of a meal as she spit it out and swapped it with another guest, before pleading: “Please cook my meat now that we’re done.”

Fans were left in hysterics as they took to Twitter to praise Mel for her brutal honesty.

They wrote: “Mel B is causing absolute carnage today – just what a live show needs”; ‘Mel B causing beautiful chaos in #saturdaykitchen’; ‘YES ***** I LOVE MEL B! BRUTALLY HONEST AND UNWRITTEN! YASSSSSS! Bring it back!!!!’

‘There should be an extra #SaturdayKitchen red button, I’d pay triple to see what Mel B is doing in the kitchen with Matt right now!’ “NO! We are NOT done, you are cooking my meat.”

‘It’s good to see classic, powerful and beautiful Mel B in the kitchen on Saturday. I’ll always be a scary Stan.’; “Most say Mel B lit up the Saturday kitchen today.”

And while the show seemed to end on a sour note, it didn’t start off on the best note either, after Matt confirmed they didn’t have the sprouts available in the kitchen – even if Mel did get her heavenly meal.

‘What happened to my order?’ Mel exclaimed before adding that he would like dauphinoise potatoes too.

Mel then confirmed: “So I have dauphinoise,” to which Matt replied: “Well, no, not quite, you have potatoes cooked in milk. I only have eight minutes to cook them.”

Fans were left hysterical as they took to Twitter to praise Mel for her brutal honesty.

Mel then intervened: ‘What’s going on? But there are no sprouts, why? While Matt was left laughing awkwardly.

Speaking to the camera, he asked viewers: ‘Will Mel face her carbonara food hell or will it be her food heaven?’ before Mel intervened: ‘No, it won’t because you don’t have the sprouts!’

Things also got awkward when Matt commented that he had had all the Spice Girls on the show, apart from Victoria Beckham.

He joked to Mel: “If you could text Victoria,” before Mel added: “I don’t know if she’ll like what you cook, though.”

Matt then suggested: ‘I mean, can David leave her?’ to which Mel responded bluntly: ‘No.’

Matt, laughing, added, “No, it’s okay, I like the honesty of this morning.”
