FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) – Sarah Thomas is the first woman to perform an NFL playoff game as an officer on the field.

Thomas was the down judge in the Sunday round of rounds between New England and the Los Angeles Chargers. That is a first, according to the Twitter account of the competition.

Thomas was hired in 2015 and was already the first female full-time official of the competition.

Terri Valenti was the replay-official in Saturday's playoff game between the Chiefs and Colts, also a scoop.
