Sarah Huckabee Sanders will join Fox News in September as a member of the network announced Thursday.
In her first public position since she left her position as Donald Trump's press secretary in June, Sanders will join the network where she routinely defended the president and his policies.

The announcement that Sanders has signed up for a public position comes one day after Dancing With The Stars announced that its predecessor, Sean Spicer, would join the cast for the coming season.
Spicer was Trump's press secretary from January to July 2017, and during his short term in office he was repeatedly accused of lying on behalf of the president.

Tom Bergeron, the host of Dancing With The Star, publicly apologized after he announced the ABC show that Spicer was taking part in the line-up of celebrities in the new season.
The 64-year-old suggested that Spicer would appear on the show, adding some excitement to what he says many use as a break in politics.
