The Duchess of York, 64, was joined by Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor, whose daughter Phoebe plays Daphne in the Netflix hit, who was eager to star in the period drama.

Appearing on ITV’s Lorraine this morning, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife revealed she has already told the show’s creator Shonda Rhimes that she wants a cameo.

The charity hopes to raise £300,000 which will allow them to continue building the radiology centre.

Sarah said: ‘I went to Manchester to see it and it’s fantastic for young people to learn how to become a mammographer or a radiographer or imagine it’s a career change.
