Sarah Ferguson has revealed she would love to star in Bridgerton.
The Duchess of York, 64, was joined by Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor, whose daughter Phoebe plays Daphne in the Netflix hit, who was eager to star in the period drama.
Appearing on ITV’s Lorraine this morning, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife revealed she has already told the show’s creator Shonda Rhimes that she wants a cameo.
Presenter Lorraine suggested Sarah should appear on Coronation Street after visiting the cobbles and being seen drinking pints behind the bar on set.
But the mother-of-two claimed she had her heart set on appearing in Bridgerton.
She said: ‘I’m betting on Bridgerton. I told Shonda Rhimes, I told Shonda, “I’m coming in.”
Lorraine added: “Well, Sally knows someone who might know someone.” Sally added: “I might know someone, who might know someone.”
Sarah then joked: “Oh, I’m sorry, I almost forgot, I’m sorry.”

Sally and Sarah have been friends since they met on the set of Loose Women earlier this year.
Calling themselves “NBF’s new best friends,” the pair have now joined forces for an important cause.
They are both patrons of the Prevent Breast Cancer charity, which has particularly poignant meaning for both Sarah and Sally.
In 2023, Ferguson discovered she had breast cancer after a routine mammogram and recently underwent successful treatment and Sally, who plays Sally Metcalfe in the ITV soap, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 at the age of 46. .
The couple explained that, together with the charity, they are raising funds to build a new center to train radiologists. 50 radiologists will be trained each year, meaning more women will be screened for breast cancer.

The charity hopes to raise £300,000 which will allow them to continue building the radiology centre.
Sarah said: ‘I went to Manchester to see it and it’s fantastic for young people to learn how to become a mammographer or a radiographer or imagine it’s a career change.
“It’s across the NHS, so it’s not just Manchester, the academy will teach these people, and what an opportunity to be able to save lives.”
Speaking about visiting the set of Coronation Street, Sarah said she felt embarrassed when she forgot it was just a set.
She said: “I walked across the cobbles, I felt so embarrassed, I was so excited, I went to the rovers door and I thought I was going in and they explained to me no, that’s just the set.”
It’s not the first time Sarah has revealed she was desperate to land a role in Bridgerton.
