Sarah Ferguson has expressed interest in joining Love Island after Joey Essex claimed he is “looking for his queen”.
The Duchess of York, 64, discussed topics including skin cancer, politics, her hopes for a cameo on Coronation Street and even appearing on Love Island when she joined the Loose Women panel on Wednesday.
As the show showed a clip of TV personality Joey Essex in the villa explaining that he is looking for “a queen” and not “a part-time thing”, the panel began discussing whether they were hopeless romantics.
After presenter Christine Lampard joked that Sarah would be a good contender for Joey, Fergie responded: “She should be there, I love a good boy toy.”
Elsewhere, the mother-of-two opened up about embarrassing her daughters, saying she acts like she is between three and six years old.

Sarah went on to ask fellow panelist Brenda Edwards if they would go to the Love Island villa together, before joking: “You’d have to call her mums and dads.”

Speaking about the late Queen Elizabeth’s love of the soap, Christine asked Sarah if she had any interest in appearing on the cobbles.
She joked: ‘I don’t want a Corrie cameo, I’m going to get it!’ Panelist Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe in the ITV soap, said Sarah may be her “long lost sister”.
Sally joked, “Because Sally has ideas of greatness, so you’d fit in just fine.”
Sarah added: ‘Here we go, how exciting. Sorry, I’m going to follow everyone with Corrie.’
She said her daughters often point out that she can easily get off topic, saying Beatrice even has a name for it.
She said: ‘My daughters are really fabulous and I’m just this adventure playground for them. The girls come and tell me: “Mom, you feel like you’re going to Disney because everything is a story.”

She said: “I’m so proud of the King for becoming the Royal Patron of Cancer Research UK, for coming out and talking to all these people, it gives everyone that wonderful feeling that they are being heard, I thought it was very brave of him. by doing that.
“The lovely Princess Catherine who made the video was very brave, the family unit is something extraordinary and, honestly, I am very proud and I send you a lot of love and a lot of support, we must all come together.”

Speaking about how they are getting on, Sarah added: “They are fantastic and just sit there, I think the Norfolk five are furious because the Corgis are coming in and they are used to this and that.”
“But they are fantastic. I think this country must defend the value system and integrity of the late Queen.”
