‘Only now am I really proud of my scars, they are really important.
‘I never thought you could free the chains of your heart from cancer, learning what it’s like to be able to properly talk about what it feels like to ask for help, surrender, and realize that everything is going to be okay. And you can find joy and not worry so much.’
