In the past two series, we’ve seen intriguing Russian contract killer Villanelle (played by Jodie Comer) obsessed with British intelligence agent Eve Polastri – and vice versa.
The pair oscillate between capturing, killing and falling in love.
The series two cliffhanger finale ended with Villanelle shooting Eve and leaving her for dead, after the killer had imagined living with Eve together in Alaska.
The new series begins six months later, with Villanelle apparently retired, living in Barcelona and about to get married for the first time.
Season three airs accelerated from the US, with episode one on ABC iview, Monday, April 13 at noon.
Season one of Killing Eve can be seen on Stan, while season two can be streamed on ABC iview.
