Sandra Bullock’s romance with Bryan Randall is on shaky ground and might need a “miracle” to work.

The Bird Box star, 59, and the photographer, 57, had a ‘period of reflection’ in 2022 during which they lived apart, and now the chances of reconciliation are ‘unlikely’ according to a source who spoke with We Weekly.

“The feeling is that Sandra may be hoping for some sort of miracle – that they’ll sort things out after this long period of reflection,” the insider added.

The source also said the actress – who was spotted with a mysterious handsome man in Los Angeles last month – and Bryan have been cordial during their on-and-off romance.

Since August 2015, the Oscar-winning actress – who is currently taking a break from her acting career to spend more time with her family – has enjoyed a relatively low-key relationship with the professional photographer.

The couple have no children together, but Bullock has two adopted children – son Louis, 13, and daughter Laila, 11 – and Bryan has an adult daughter named Skylar from a previous relationship.

Sandra was in the process of adopting her second child when things got serious with Bryan.

However, the couple would not be on the same wavelength when it comes to marriage.

In late 2022, it was reported that Bryan moved out of the couple’s house due to Sandra’s opposition to the marriage.

At the time, a source told Us Weekly that Bryan continued to be “very present in the children’s lives.”

“It’s well known that Bryan wanted to formalize things with Sandra, but she didn’t see the need to go that route. It became quite a problem over time,’ the source said, adding that Bullock, ‘didn’t need a piece of paper to plan a future and be happy, but he felt differently.

In February, it was reported that Bullock and Randall reconnected, after going their separate ways.
