On August 5, Samsung is expected to unveil its latest Galaxy Note smartphone at a new Unpacked event. But in addition to its new flagship phone, the company says it plans to launch four additional devices, and rumors suggest we’re going to be using a mix of foldable devices, wearables, tablets and headphones.
Specifically, it looks like Samsung is getting ready to announce a successor to the Galaxy Fold, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch, the Galaxy Tab S7 tablet, and a new pair of true wireless earbuds called the Galaxy Buds Live. There’s also the Galaxy Note 20, which is widely expected to come in two variants.
The launch is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.ET / 7 a.m.PT, but the ongoing coronavirus pandemic means it will be an online launch. We’ve seen companies take a number of different approaches to replacing physical events, ranging from the simple present to an empty auditorium to broadcast smooth video presentations, but this will be a first for Samsung. Her last event in February happened before the pandemic turned the old way upside down.
