Sam’s Club has lowered the cost of membership to $20, but only for a limited time.
Walmart’s membership-based wholesale offering offers new subscribers the chance to pay $20 for their first year instead of the usual $50.
The 60 percent discount is only available to new members who sign up before December 24.
It’s a much cheaper offering than rival Costco, whose annual fee for the standard membership is currently $65.
The Sam’s Club offer is limited to new members and is not available to those who wish to renew their current subscription.
The discount is also not available if you have a Sam’s Club membership within six months of signing up.
Membership cards are available in any store, or can be purchased online.
They are not transferable, but can be shared with one other person in a household.

Sam’s Club membership allows customers to purchase groceries and electronics at a discount in-store.
It also gives access to services such as free tire checks and repairs.
Costco is the largest of the membership-based warehouse chains, with twice as much sales as its rival, even though they both have the same number of clubs.
Last year, the retailers went head-to-head over a food court product, with Sam’s Club undercutting Costco’s famous $1.50 hot dog and soda combo by 12 cents.
Costco increased its membership fees in early September, raising its standard membership from $60 per year to $65.
The Executive tier — which offers a 2 percent discount on all Costco purchases made that year up to a total of $750 — increased by $10 to $130 per year.
Sam’s Club, on the other hand, usually offers a club-level membership of $50 per year and $110 for the plus option.
Costco recently announced a crackdown on those who try to access its stores without a valid membership card.

The retail giant recently announced that shoppers will need to scan their physical membership card when entering stores.
In addition, they will also have to visually match the photo that appears on the scanned card.
The scanners, which have already been spotted in some locations in California, are an attempt to deter bargain hunters from borrowing a friend’s membership card without paying the annual fee themselves.
