Samantha Armytage took a cheeky swipe at her former Sunrise co-host David ‘Kochie’ Koch on Friday during a radio interview.

The Farmer Wants A Wife presenter, 46, appeared on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa with Kate Ritchie to talk about the popular Channel Seven show and life on her farm in regional New South Wales.

She recalled a story about giving birth to a foal on the property she shares with her husband, equestrian businessman Richard Lavender.

‘I gave birth to a foal. “She was holding the mare’s head, you have to get up in five minutes,” he told the hosts.

Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald then jokingly asked if newborns walked like Kochie did at the Channel Seven Sunrise studios.

Last year, she took over hosting duties for Farmer Wants A Wife from Natalie Gruzlewski, who remains on the show as host.
