Samantha Armytage has shared her devastation after losing her beloved dog Banjo.
The TV presenter, 47, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the heartbreaking news with her 255,000 followers as she came to terms with the loss.
She shared a gallery of photos of herself posing with the six-year-old Labrador Retriever as she reminisced about her precious memories with the dog.
Heartbroken Samantha told how Banjo died “suddenly” three weeks ago after he was thought to have been bitten by a snake near Wagga Wagga.
In one caption, she paid tribute to her pet, writing: “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” Winnie the Pooh.

‘Three weeks ago yesterday, I said goodbye to my dear son, Banjo. My heart is completely broken.
‘He was my best friend, my baby and my shadow… and I don’t know what I’m going to do without him.
“He left early – he was staying with dad near Wagga and we think he may have been bitten by a snake.”
‘It was very sudden and I want to thank our vet who fought so hard to save him. We are all very sad.
‘Today there is another star in the sky. Okay Banjo.’
