The radio host, 31, revealed he had been “living” in the physiotherapy room ahead of the match, which takes place on Sunday, June 9 at Stamford Bridge.
Sharing an update to his Instagram Story on Saturday, Sam uploaded a clip while receiving treatment from the team.
Reuniting with his former I’m A Celebrity campmate Tony Bellew, who will be playing for rival team World XI, the duo reunited after Sam’s physiotherapy session.

Smiling Sam replied, “It’s because I tweaked the old quad, mate,” before adding that Tony didn’t think he was injured.

This year’s Soccer Aid clash takes place in London, where a mix of former professional footballers and celebrities representing two teams – England and the world – will clash in a televised event at Stamford Bridge to raise funds for Unicef.
Sam will be joined by Steven Bartlett, Bobby Brazier, Stuart Broad, Alex Brooker, Erin Doherty, Danny Dyer, Sir Mo Farah, Tom Grennan, Eddie Hearn, Tom Hiddleston, Paddy McGuinness, Miniminter, Sam Quek, who will complete the celebrity team. .
Legends Jill Scott (Captain), Gary Cahill, Karen Carney, Joe Cole, Jermain Defoe, David James, Theo Walcott, Ellen White and Jack Wilshere will complete England.
