Sam Thompson fought back tears as he gave a young girl with ADHD advice on how to live with her symptoms during an appearance on This Morning on Monday.
The former Made In Chelsea star, 31, who is ADHD UK’s new official ambassador, admitted he wants to make ADHD his “legacy”.
Sam is trying to “foster conversation around the topic” to help change people’s minds about how they view ADHD after being diagnosed with the disorder at age 30.
In one clip, the “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here” winner told the young woman to use ADHD as her “superpower,” as he often likes to call it.
He said: “I was terrible at everything I didn’t like. But I love ancient history, so I’m very good at that. You can use it to your advantage.”

‘I know it sounds cheesy but I want this to be my legacy.
“I hope that young lady never forgets this… I’m going to cry right now. When you’re that young, you only need to hear the positive things.
“There are difficulties, but at that age you only have to listen to the positive.”
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition that includes symptoms such as restlessness and difficulty concentrating.
Sam was diagnosed with ADHD and autism after undergoing tests for his Channel 4 documentary Is This ADHD? last year.
Sam first spoke about his ADHD during an episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last year, stating at the time that he is “not ashamed” of his diagnosis.
His TV appearance comes after reports that he and girlfriend Zara McDermott are giving their relationship “one last chance” after weeks of “crisis talks”.
The couple, who have been together for four years, sparked separation rumors in recent weeks after a heated argument.

During her “difficult” time, Zara’s Strictly partner Graziano Di Prima admitted to kicking her in rehearsals last year in an apology statement, after he was sacked from the BBC show over his claims.
As shocking details of her Strictly experience emerged, Zara, 27, was apparently struggling to save her long-term relationship with Sam behind closed doors at the same time.
There have reportedly been ‘a lot of tears’ and ‘strain in their relationship’ due to the allegations surrounding Graziano, but the pair are said to be supporting each other and doing their best to make it work.

Zara’s spokesperson told the BBC: “It is public knowledge that the BBC considered the conduct to be so serious that it was removed from the programme immediately.
‘Zara confirmed in a statement posted on its social media earlier this week that the reported conduct was not an isolated incident.’
