MailOnline revealed that Zara and Sam had split last month after five years together and Zara recently revealed that she has moved out of her home in Chelsea where filming took place.
However, in their last joint TV appearance, they were surprised by host Michael, 48, in the middle of the night as part of their infamous Midnight Gameshow sketch, before making way for a host of celebrity guests.
Sam met up with Celebrity SAS’s Jason Fox, who challenged him to hold huge weights while he was questioned about his relationship with Zara.
But unable to remember what the Strictly star had bought him as gifts over the years, Jason forcefully asked: ‘Do you really love her?’

During the segment, the exes were surprised at Chelsea’s home they once shared with the comedian and his crew, who woke them up.
The stunned couple are filmed sitting together in bed as they are tasked with answering questions from three Love Island stars with custard pie – Jessy Potts, Harriett Blackmore and Ayo Odukoya.
Host Michael previously admitted the skit almost never happened because the former couple had locked their bedroom door from the inside.
He told viewers: “They were terrified when I had to knock on the door, but luckily they had the time of their lives.”

Pete, the strict star, asked Sam: “What’s been going on?” regarding the news of their relationship.
Sam admitted it’s been a “really tough month” managing the breakup as he opened up to Pete and his listeners.
He said: ‘It was tough. It’s been a hard month. A really tough month.’

Just hours before Michael McIntrye’s show aired, Zara liked Sam’s latest Instagram video, which also revealed who his replacement on Instagram was.
Assuming a role that Zara would likely have played had the couple still been together, Karen is seen sitting across from an unseen Pete while a suspicious Sam spies on them.
The silly skit then shows Karen and Pete seemingly flirting as they reach out to hold hands on the table.
In what seems like the beginning of an exciting adventure, Pete asks Karen, “Why haven’t we done this before?” to which she replies, “I don’t know, but I’m so excited!”
‘It’s going to taste so good, bring me some more!’
Pete then says, “I’ll figure it out, it’s our secret,” as she seductively responds, “It’s our hot secret, Pete!”
The scene then cuts to a horrified Sam shaking and sweating behind the door, horrified by what his mother and best friend could be doing.
Working up the courage to confront them, he bursts through the door shouting, “Get away from my mom!”, only to find the two of them enjoying a bowl of Heinz tomato soup.
Pete then innocently tells him: ‘We’re just having a mate soup, I didn’t think that would be your thing?’
The scene then ends with Sam pulling out his own spoon and asking, ‘Room for one more?’
