In my mind, I only see the transfer window extended, to allow for more lucrative deals that benefit not only the club but also the value of the affiliate league.
The bigger the player in the league, the more lucrative broadcast deals will be. However, the negotiation phase could go beyond what would be considered ‘normal’ because the two sides cannot agree on a player’s current rating given the different ever-changing variables.
