Sam Smith stepped out with their rumored boyfriend Christian Cowan in New York on Thursday night.
The Unholy singer, 30, was a casual figure in double denim for the outing, with a hot drink in her hand.
Wearing a jacket and jeans with a pair of chunky brown boots, they seemed in good spirits as they strolled with designer Christian and friends.
Sam also lit a cigarette and wore a white shirt under their denim ensemble.
The hitmaker is rumored to be in New York to guest star on the Sex And The City spin-off, And Just Like That.

They appeared to be teasing their appearance on the show on Wednesday, taking to Instagram to write, “Up to something unholy on set” while on location.
The post was also shared by the official Instagram account of the HBO show, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon.
Sam, who is non-binary and uses “she/they” pronouns, was referring to their controversial hit Unholy featuring Kim Petras vocals.
Fans of the show have already gotten excited about the return of Carrie’s ex Aidan Shaw – played by John Corbett.
Initial reactions to the news were mixed, with one viewer commenting, “I can see them pulling out all the stops to overcome their bad reviews from last season.” You give them a big boost.’
While another joked, ‘Sam Smith is a guest on And Just Like That? I hope they trip Carrie down a flight of stairs.”
Last month, British singer Sam sparked a row over “hypersexualized” dancing in their new music video, with critics claiming it “normalizes pornography” in pop culture — but fans claim it’s “empowering.”
The “raunchy” video for the singer’s new song, I’m Not Here To Make Friends, sparked a debate over whether it should be age-restricted on platforms like YouTube due to its supposedly explicit content.

It shows them arriving at a castle in a helicopter before dancing alongside a host of performers wearing corsets, braces and nipple tassels.
A fountain of water is also squirted into the singer’s mouth.
Meanwhile, in February last year, actress Cynthia Nixon defended the show after DailyMail columnist Meghan McCain called it “too awake.”
Speaking to Andy Cohen on his Sirius XM show Saturday, the Bravo host posted McCain’s comments from her DailyMail.com column to the ladies of the rebooted Sex and the City series.
“Meghan McCain came out with a column saying the show was too PC, trying to do too much at once,” Andy said.
“The show became so loved — reruns for all these years,” adding, “I feel like people have watched it and they know it so well, inside and out.”
Nixon, who plays Miranda Hobbes, continues, “Because people know it so well, they’ve enshrined it in nostalgia.
“But this is a show that has always pushed all boundaries.”
“I think that’s what’s great about the new show — about how many different directions we’re going with it, and pushing boundaries and waking people up.
And most of all, wake up the characters. We don’t want to see these characters… get comfortable. We want to get them out of their comfort zone.’
McCain wrote in her DailyMail.com column last December that the series had “died by awakening,” echoing similar reactions from fans on social media.
“It’s wakefulness shoved superficially down your throat to make a point about wealthy white liberal women ‘evolving’ into the political climate of 2021,” McCain wrote.
Nicole Ari Parker, who plays LTW on the show, said, “Such comments say more about the person saying them.”
Sarah Jessica Parker, who recently admitted to only watching the first two episodes, also joined the conversation.
She said, ‘What’s too much? Maybe in your living room or when you go outside it looks the same as inside, and when you go to the supermarket it’s the same.’

She continued, “Maybe it’s too much for you. Not so for these characters in New York City.”
Kristin Davis added, “I can’t think of another situation where someone has done that with a show.
“People don’t know how to think about it… It gives so many possibilities and we live in a different time.”
The show’s chapter features a host of new and diverse characters, including Miranda’s non-binary love interest Che Diaz.
