Sam Newman has eviscerated media personality Chrissie Swan after claiming interviewing her was the “worst experience” of his broadcasting career.
Swan, 49, sparked a war of words with the ex-AFL star, 77, on Monday during her podcast The Chrissie Swan Show, after she recalled clashing with Newman during a interview for Nova FM’s breakfast show a few years ago.
The interview was “terrible,” so she left the studio in tears and they couldn’t air it.
Newman has since fired back in an interview with News Corp.accusing Swan of acting “unprofessionally” by inviting him on his show, only to lash out over a disagreement.
“What a coward to ask someone to come in and then walk out of the studio with an opinion on a topic we were talking about,” he told the publication on Tuesday.
