Sam Burgess was a far cry from his NRL days when he debuted a striking new look on Monday.
The former South Sydney Rabbitohs star, 35, looked every inch the doting dad as he appeared in his fiancee Lucy Graham’s latest Instagram post.
In a series of photos shared on the hairdresser’s social media, Sam cradled the couple’s eight-month-old daughter, Robbie, while showing off silvery gray hair and straighter teeth after wearing braces for several months.
Lucy was celebrating her fiancé’s latest achievement as Warrington Wolves headed to Wembley Stadium for the Challenge Cup final against Wigan Warriors.
It is an important milestone for Sam, who is the coach of the English team, as it is his first season in charge.

Sam and Lucy welcomed their daughter Robbie in September 2023 after announcing the exciting news of the baby’s arrival on Channel Seven’s Sunrise.
The sports star added that both Lucy and her newborn daughter are “doing very well.”
“She’s fantastic and beautiful just like her mother,” Sam said.
The couple revealed they were expecting their first child together in March last year.
Sam proposed to Lucy in June 2023, just nine months after they went public with their relationship.
Lucy used to be a member of British girl group The Ultra Girls, who featured heavily on The X Factor UK in 2009.
Sam, who was born in West Yorkshire, England, has known Lucy for about 20 years.
He was previously married to Phoebe Burgess, with whom he shares two children: daughter Poppy, six, and son Billy, four.
The rugby coach has since started his new life in the UK but returns to Australia regularly. Late last year, he and Lucy were spending time in Sydney’s eastern suburbs with their newborn.
Sam previously revealed he was extremely nervous when he proposed to the Leeds hairdresser.

Appearing on Channel Seven’s Sunrise shortly after returning to Australia, he was asked how he proposed to Lucy.
While he kept the details private, he said: “I was actually very nervous, I dropped the ball so to speak, it was a great day, a great moment, we are both very happy.”
Lucy looked extremely happy with her engagement ring and shared several photos on Instagram.
The former Rabbitohs player proposed to Lucy just nine months after they went public with their relationship. He proposed to her while they were on their honeymoon in Fiji.
