NRL player Sam Burgess has & # 39; flirty & # 39; exchanged messages with Jessika Power from Married At First Sight about Instagram after his recent split of wife Phoebe.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs prop, 30, made a friendship earlier this month with the reality TV star 28 on the social media platform, Daily Mail Australia understands.
They started chatting only a few days after reports appeared on October 13 that Burgess was divorced from Phoebe, the mother of his two children, Poppy and Billy.

A source told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday that Burgess bragged to some of his friends & # 39; about their exchanges and even tried & # 39; to arrange a date & # 39 ;.
Power and Burgess do not follow each other on Instagram.
Burgess & # 39; alienated woman is considered an avid fan of Married At First Sight, and even follows an Instagram fan page dedicated to the popular Channel Nine show.
Power declined to comment on contact with Daily Mail Australia and Burgess did not respond.

Last week Burgess was shown on a yacht in Cabo, Mexico with the former rugby league star, the 50th birthday party of cake entrepreneur Sean Garlick.
At one point he was seen dancing with a bikini-clad woman on his shoulders, despite a shoulder injury that could endanger his career.
During the festivities, Burgess wore a brown hat, a tribal-inspired necklace and a leopard print arm tie while sucking the sun on the luxury ship.

On October 19, Burgess was banned from going within a mile of the father of his estranged wife Mitchell Hooke, after a fight between the two men on Mr. Hooke's estate near Bowral, NSW.
The fight took place after Burgess arrived at the site to spend time with his two children: 10-year-old son Billy and 2-year-old daughter Poppy.
Allegedly, Hooke asked Burgess to leave the family's three-hectare Glenquarry farm, which Burgess did, but the police were called at about 5 p.m.
Officers filed a provisional arrest arrested violence (AVO) against Burgess, and court documents state that he now no longer has access to the house.

Burgess is also not allowed to come within a kilometer of another place where Mr Hooke, a retired mining manager, lives or works.
He was also affected by standard AVO circumstances that prevented him from stalking, intimidating, or attacking Phoebe & # 39; s father.
An NSW Police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia that the police were investigating and & # 39; there are no reports of injured & # 39 ;.
Sam is at the court of Moss Vale on November 6, where a magistrate can confirm the AVO or reject it in its entirety.
There is no suggestion that he did something wrong by visiting the property. Phoebe was not on the farm during the Burgess weekend visit, with the couple weeks earlier split.

It was first reported on October 13 that Phoebe and Sam Burgess had split up for the second time, after they initially divorced in December before reconciling in April.
At the time an insider told me The Sunday Telegraph that Burgess had left & # 39; a few weeks in advance & # 39 ;.
Burgess is said to have moved out of the $ 3.8 million marital home in Maroubra, while Phoebe is staying with her parents in the southern highlands of the NSW.
During their brief divorce earlier this year, Sam had moved to the mansion of the famous accountant Anthony Bell, $ 11.5 million in Dover Heights.

Phoebe confirmed in April Stellar magazine that she and Sam had reconciled after their first split in December, but admitted that things were not & # 39; perfect & # 39; goods.
& # 39; Everyone on this planet who is married knows that it is not perfect. It will never be perfect … Sam and I will have good days and we will have try days, & she said at the time.
Phoebe added that the reason for their split and the details of their reconciliation will always be between Sam and I & # 39 ;.
The burgesses met for the first time at an Avicii concert in Sydney in January 2014 and were married in December 2015 on the estate of Phoebe's parents.
