Sam Asghari laughs when he says Britney Spears is ‘happy’ after being granted right to hire his own lawyer
Britney Spears’ supportive friend Sam Asghari had a smile on his face this week as he ran errands in the Westlake area of Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old personal trainer spoke to the 39-year-old pop star’s current state after she was granted the right to hire her own lawyer on Wednesday, July 14.
When asked about Britney’s latest victory in her ongoing struggle as a conservatory, Asghari confessed “she’s happy,” before pleading, “Free Britney.”
Happiness: Britney Spears’ boyfriend Sam Asghari had a smile on his face as he ran errands in LA, where he said the singer was “happy” after getting the right to hire her own lawyer
Her six-year-old beauty was seen flaunting his gym-cut figure in a white and navy tank top and a pair of camo shorts with white and gray sneakers.
But his smile shone brighter than his muscular physique after he was asked to speak to the Lucky singer’s state following a Wednesday hearing at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse.
When asked if she was “happy with the court results,” Sam said, “She’s happy,” before moving on to “the next steps.”
“I will always support her in whatever she wants – and I’ve always been a support, so I’m happy for her and free Britney!” he said.
Asghari’s statements come just days after Spears’ petition to have longtime attorney Samuel Ingham replaced with her hand-picked attorney, Mathew Rosengart, was granted.

Addressing the court, Rosengart said, “I am not representing her alone,” adding that he will be assisted by “a team of lawyers in my office” who “all have significant experience in bereavement cases.”
And after Britney’s cries to have dad Jamie Spears removed as conservator were reiterated, she continued to say she wanted to “press charges.”
“I’m here to get rid of my father and accuse him of conservatorship abuse,” she insisted, which Rosengart later repeated to Judge Brenda Penny.
He claims to love his daughter and his daughter has repeatedly asked him to resign. So now I’m going to give him the chance to resign voluntarily,” Rosengart said.

And outside the courthouse, he addressed reporters. “One thing that everyone has lost sight of in all the controversy and all the lawsuits and all the drama is what is in Britney Spears’ best interests.”
“Can anyone disagree that it’s not in James Spears’s best interest to be a co-curator? The question remains why he is involved,” Rosengart added.
And after the win, the Toxic singer took to Instagram to address the situation, sharing a video featuring cartwheels and horseback riding.
‘Come on people… come by!!!!! New with real representation today…I feel GRATITUDE and BLESSED!!!! Thank you to my fans who support me… You have no idea what it means to me to be supported by such amazing fans!!!! God bless you all!!!!!’
Asghari responded: ‘Internet is about to explode #freeBritney.’

Before joining as Britney’s counsel, the two had “multiple conversations” per… Page six.
Britney has had several conversations with Mathew over the past few days. He has been closely monitoring her case for some time and found her testimony last month very convincing,” said an insider.
At her June 23 hearing, she spoke about her father’s continued scrutiny over the past 13 years and said she “wanted to have the opportunity to choose my own lawyer.”
“…I haven’t really had a chance to choose my own lawyer myself,” she said in an excerpt, adding, “And I’d love to be able to do that.”
She had also asked for basic freedom, including quality time with her two children and a future with Asghari.
Shots Fired: On July 16, she continued to speak out on Instagram as she fired at the people ‘closest’ to her who ‘never showed up’ – what many considered digs at her mother Lynne, sister Jamie Lynn and brother Bryan – as she said they ‘did nothing’ to help her situation
“All I want is to have my money for this and my boyfriend to drive me in his fucking car,” she said before adding, “I want to be able to get married and have a baby.”
And on Friday, she continued to speak out on Instagram as she took fire at the people “closest” to her who “never showed up” — what many considered digs at her mother Lynne, sister Jamie Lynn and brother Bryan — as she she said ‘did nothing’ to help her situation.
“There’s nothing worse than when the people closest to you, who never showed up for you, post things related to your situation, whatever they are, and speak righteously for support…there’s nothing worse than that! !!! How dare the people you love most say anything… they even reached out a hand to even lift me up at that moment!!!???
“How dare you make it public that it CARES YOU NOW… did you reach out when I was drowning???? Again… NO… so if you’re reading this and you know who you are… and you really have the nerve to say something about my situation just to save face publicly!!!’
Jamie Lynn has disabled all comments on her Instagram, although it was previously revealed that she was the only family member not on Britney’s payroll.
