Samantha Armytage has won the lottery, but she’s not resting on her laurels just yet.
The TV personality shared her big win on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, showing off the handful of cash she collected after gambling.
“I won the lottery on Saturday night… I’m not retiring anytime soon,” he joked in a caption alongside a picture of his winnings.
Sam earned a little less than $8, enough to buy himself a nice cup of coffee or even retire.
Sam recently shocked fans when he decided to quit Seven and walk away from Farmer Wants A Wife, and now details have emerged of the new contract he turned down.
The former Sunrise star, 47, appeared as a guest host on the matchmaking reality show FWAW in 2022 before unseating Natalie Gruzlewski to become the face in 2023.
A source has now alleged that Sam threw in the towel after two seasons as a presenter because Seven wanted to cut her huge salary, it reported Women’s Day on Mondays.
“Sam wanted money similar to what Natalie Barr and Sonia Kruger have,” the source told the publication.

‘Sam was still getting money from an old breakfast TV deal, and that’s not what you get paid to host a reality show these days.
“She was asking for the same amount that Sonia gets paid for three shows. It wasn’t going to happen. Seven simply didn’t have the money.”
They went on to say that Seven also refused to allow Sam more “creative control” on the reality show, which also soured the media personality.
Now, after 21 years at Seven, where his salary was worth $500,000 a year, Sam’s agents are said to be arranging meetings with Nine and Ten.

Despite losing out on her huge TV salary, Sam is the proud owner of several luxury properties across Australia, worth a collective $10 million.
She purchased her most recent property in May, a stunning three-bedroom, two-bathroom renovation project located in Moss Vale, Southern Highlands.
Sam paid $1.3 million for the impressive property, located 130 kilometres from Sydney, which features spacious rooms and stunning nature views.
The blonde beauty also purchased a chic investment property for $1,575 in 2021 in the trendy Sydney suburb of Rushcutters Bay.
This is an exquisitely designed two-bedroom beachfront property located in an exclusive apartment complex in the city center.
Sam also owns two additional properties, one is a vacation rental in Hyams that he purchased for $3.2 million and rents to tourists for approximately $1,200 per night.
Meanwhile, Sam also made a tidy profit from the sale of part of his property portfolio, after selling his exquisite North Bondi home in July 2020 for $3.15 million.
The veteran presenter purchased the home in 2014 for $2.15 million, meaning she made a significant profit once the sale was finalised.
Sam recently shocked fans when he decided to leave Seven and quit Farmer Wants A Wife.
In total, Sam’s impressive property portfolio is believed to be worth more than $10 million, which could give him a resource to fall back on after leaving Channel Seven.
Samantha announced her departure from the broadcaster last week when she turned down a new deal with Seven after her current contract expired in October.
Describing the departure as “sad and bittersweet”, she told The Daily Telegraph she felt her time had come and was excited about her future.
“I go by instinct a lot. I listen to my gut. I know when it’s time. I’m proud that I’ve supported myself enough to say, ‘I’ve done what I can do here,’ and move on,” she said.
“This is not the end. It’s just the end of this chapter.”
Samantha will still appear at the upcoming Logies, with her show Farmer Wants A Wife nominated for Best Structured Reality Programme, but she will not be returning to present the next series of the show, which is currently in pre-production.
