‘We are very proud of what we have created. It’s been very entertaining and has been sold in many countries,” Krissy told Daily Mail Australia at an event last year.
The original season of The Real Housewives of Sydney aired in 2017 before being canceled for being “too bad.”
It was famously rejected by the American network Bravo, which chose not to air it because the extreme fighting and bad language were considered too extreme.
“Many of the women on this show were unpleasant for the sake of it and have no redeeming features,” Foxtel boss Brian Walsh said at the time.
Lisa Oldfield and Athena X Levendi were particularly notable for their foul-mouthed antics, which even got physical on one occasion.
The producers only brought back Krissy and Nicole from the original series, making room for Kate Adams, Terry Biviano, Caroline Gaultier and Sally Obermeder to join.
Krissy emphasized to Daily Mail Australia that the strong ensemble of seven cast members have collectively contributed to a show that everyone is proud of this time around.
And they are all incredible women. Including us!’ he added with a smile.
