Michael Thomas appeared to be involved in a heated confrontation with Panthers defensive end Derrick Brown in a video taken from one of the two tunnels at Bank of American Stadium, with Carolina’s star going wide and later suggesting he was “trapped” was lured.

On their respective way back to their teams’ lock rooms – one of them appears to be just off the corner of a bend at the end of the ramp – Thomas, 30, and Brown, 25, square up, at which point Brown needed has to be prevented from laying hands on Thomas.
The video ends with security leading Brown away from Thomas and presumably back to the Panthers’ locker room.
A day after the confrontation took place, Thomas shared on X, “They tried to frame me.”

It is unclear whether Thomas was ultimately referring to the mutual confrontation.
He caught seven of nine targets for 55 yards in New Orleans’ second win of the season after beating the Tennessee Titans 16-15 in Week 1.
Thomas now has 12 catches for 116 yards in two games.

Brown recorded seven tackles and contributed to the Panthers’ pass rush game for four sacks on Saints quarterback Derek Carr.
