During the past two days, a section of the media had speculated that the multi-millionaire businessman from the United Arab Emirates and Keralite MA Yusuf Ali had bought Sachin's stake.
Sachin has been the face of the franchise since its first edition in 2014 and was along with the then prime minister Oommen Chandy, held a press conference at the state secretariat announcing the name of the club.
