S Club 7 singer Jo O’Meara stunned many fans on Thursday when she unveiled her new look during a performance on ITV’s Lorraine.
The star, who rose to fame in the 1990s as a member of the iconic band, chatted with presenter Christine Lampard ahead of the release of her new solo album With Love.
Jo, who previously revealed that she quit smoking and drinking as part of a lifestyle, surprised many viewers with her drastically different appearance, with some taking to social media to share their reaction.

Speaking to Christine about her new solo record, Jo revealed that it’s been 16 years since she recorded new music.
She said, “It’s been a long time, it feels so strange, but I’m so excited. There’s one that’s very personal, it’s called Lay Your Hurt On Me… which I wrote for my friend Daniel who died of cancer. forever.
“Coming back after such a long time is so nerve-wracking, you’d think it would get easier, but I’m just getting more nervous. It’s so exciting, I feel so lucky to be back.

“I just love music, I grew up with it, it’s my whole life, it’s what I want to do and everything I love to do. It’s very special for me to make it again.’
But when asked about swirling rumors of an S Club 7 reunion, Jo kept his mouth shut and said, “There have been no meetings, no plans… there have been no official talks that we were going to do anything else.” to do.

She explained: “On a Thursday we went out and clapped, when I came in I pulled out the old karaoke and played a few songs. I made sure they would make their requests and I sang as much as I could to cheer them up a bit.
“It was the 20th anniversary of the song Don’t Stop Moving and I’ve always wanted to take a classic S Club song and give it a completely different spin… I’m really glad I did because everyone seems to really enjoy it. It’s nice that it’s on the album, because it’s a little nod to where I’m from.’
