‘I don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel’: Ryan Thomas says he’s ‘still in trouble’ with fiancé Lucy Mecklenburgh after buying a HOUSE without her knowledge
Ryan Thomas has revealed that he is in trouble with his fiancé after buying a house without her knowledge.
Last month, the actor splashed out on a new family home in Cheshire for Lucy Mecklenburgh and their son Roman without ever viewing the property.
On Friday’s episode of Lorraine, the former Coronation Street star admitted he has some catching up to do.

He confessed, “I still have problems today. We’re not even in the house yet, it’s a construction site. I don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel.
“ It’ll be fine in the end, but now everyone knows moving is hard work, I’ve taken on more than I can chew with the house, but we’ll be happy in the end. ”
The couple currently lives in Lucy’s hometown of Essex with their 13-month-old son as they work on revamping their new Cheshire pad.

In March, Lucy shocked her Instagram followers when she shared a bunch of keys, captioned, ‘New home, new project, new memories to be made.
‘@ ryanthomas84 bought our new home in Manchester without my seeing, he’s a very brave man hahahah !!!’
Although she joked that her fiancé was a ‘brave man’, his risk seemed to pay off when she gushed, ‘It’s just perfect! Edwardian, lots of potential. Can’t wait to get started on the renovation !! ‘

Although Ryan now has two houses in the UK, he recently confessed that he would like to live abroad.
He explained that this will not be able to happen for the foreseeable future as he would not want to leave 11-year-old daughter Scarlett, who stays in Manchester with actress mother Tina O’Brien.

“The only thing holding that back is Scarlett. She lives in two houses. I would like her to have a base where she can feel that it is her “other home”.
‘Otherwise I could live abroad and work from home six months a year.
The actor previously worked in Australia after scoring a short-lived role on the long-running soap opera Neighbors, starring Rafael Humphreys for two months between February and April 2018.
