At the event, she recalled attending a workshop on conflict resolution, which she said changed her perspective and “changed my life.”
His admission comes just days after he and Lively continued their PDA tour during a romantic stroll in New York City amid claims that he wants to “save” his career following drama involving his new film, It Ends With Us.

“I just didn’t know how to process the things I was feeling,” he admitted as he explained why he was interested in taking the workshop and learning more about himself.
“Because I had a scarcity mentality when I was younger,” she continued.
“I didn’t know how to deploy that thing in your brain that always conditions you to win or be right.”
She added: “Something I love about (conflict resolution), and I know it’s not very sophisticated, but what I love about it is that you can meet someone where they are and you don’t have to be right or wrong. You can disagree and still connect.”
Although she has learned to process her feelings, she said her young children are still learning.
“I have four kids, and so far none of them seem to have that (scarcity mentality), partly because they were born on Easy Street,” she said with a smile.
“Parents today are very different,” he continued.
“We’re very soft,” he said. “I don’t shout. I grew up with something like… it was crazy, it was an improvised militia.”
