Ryan, 47, shared a touching story about his four children’s relationship with his Deadpool and Wolverine co-star Hugh, humorously recounting how his four-year-old daughter Betty playfully “attacked” the Australian actor backstage at the film’s New York premiere.

Hugh chimed in, referring to his character Wolverine’s superhero abilities, joking: “She thinks I have healing powers, I think.”
The funny anecdote comes after Ryan revealed the name of his and his wife Blake Lively’s youngest son.

At the film’s premiere, Ryan took to the stage to send love to the Hollywood power couple’s four children: daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty and fourth child, Olin.
Ryan and Blake welcomed their fourth baby on February 12, 2023, but have yet to reveal the sex of their new addition.
“I want to start by thanking my wife Blake, who is here. I want to thank my children James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here,” Ryan said onstage during the premiere Monday night, according to Variety.
“I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing – that is, the content of this film – that happens in their wonderful lives,” he added.
The stars never officially revealed that she had given birth to her fourth child and instead shared a photo of herself in skinny jeans and a crop top with no baby bump on February 12, 2023.
Blake also hinted in the caption that she had her baby, writing: ‘Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023. Been busy,’ she wrote.
The name reveal also comes after Ryan spoke about his and Blake’s plan to expand their family.
He excitedly recounted Electronic News“The more the merrier. As many as possible. As many heartbeats as possible, just running around, smashing things in the house.”

Ryan then explained again how his children have a very close relationship with Hugh, joking that they “prefer” him.
“My kids prefer everything Hugh over me,” he joked, while The Greatest Showman actor chimed in: “Mainly as a father.”
The father of four revealed that the 55-year-old actor’s films are watched over and over again at home.
“They watched The Greatest Showman more than the editor of The Greatest Showman,” Ryan said.
“And sometimes I come home and see this kid acting it out with them and it’s amazing,” she added of Jackman’s relationship with his children.
Blake and Ryan tied the knot at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, in 2012, after meeting on the set of Green Lantern in 2010.
They became parents for the first time in December 2014 with the birth of their daughter, James. Inés was born two years later on September 30, 2016.
