Ryan Reynolds has shared his thoughts on his wife Blake Lively’s film It Ends With Us, which outperformed his Marvel movie Deadpool & Wolverine at the box office.

“The only time in my life I’ve dreamed of finishing second,” he said, adding that it was “a sign of a good relationship.”
The father of four said: “It’s always been a constant between Blake and (I): that we really support each other.”

This comes after TMZ reported on Friday that Lively has no plans to publicly address the alleged feud between her and her co-star and It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni.
The actress is reportedly trying to put tension with Baldoni, 40, behind her, and sources share that she is choosing to focus on her other co-stars and her family.
Justin felt “hurt and marginalized” by Blake — his on-screen love interest — while starring in and directing the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, which has the same name as the film.
And Lively reportedly felt “weight-shamed” by him on set and was uncomfortable with a kissing scene in which she believed he “lingered” longer than necessary.
From day one, sources close to the project say there was tension between the filmmakers.
The situation only intensified during the making of the film, which surpassed the $100 million mark at the global box office in its first week.
“There were two camps on the film: Team Blake and Team Justin. This creative struggle set the tone for the negative experience behind the scenes and led to them stopping speaking to each other,” a source told the BBC. We weekly.
The source continued: “[Justin]was made to feel like his vision wasn’t as important as Blake’s, and that stifled creativity on set.”

Deadpool & Wolverine debuted in theaters on July 26 and grossed $205 million domestically and $233.3 million internationally.
Following the successful opening weekend, Hugh Jackman wrote on Instagram to his 32.6 million followers: “Wolverine and Deadpool is the number one movie in the world. Thank you ALL!”
Ryan followed suit, taking to his Instagram Stories to write: “This is a little hard to process. But thanks to everyone who went to see the movie this weekend… wow!”
He and Blake married in 2012 and share daughters James, nine, Inez, seven, Betty, four, and son Ollie, one.
