Ryan Reynolds paid an emotional tribute to Deadpool & Wolverine production designer Ray Chan following his death this week.
Chan was best known for being Marvel Studios’ longtime supervising art director, and his passing was announced in a statement from the studios on Wednesday.
Reynolds, 47, who plays Deadpool, took to Instagram on Friday with a message that read: ‘RIP Ray Chan
‘Words are quite insufficient compared to this loss. There is an incomparable reservoir of skill, tender courage, and talent that no longer exists.
“He was as valuable a creative force on Deadpool & Wolverine as the writers, director and stars.

Ray first joined Marvel Studios on Thor: The Dark World as supervising art director and went on to serve as supervising art director on many other Marvel films, including Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Doctor Strange , Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
He was also art director on Spider-Man: Far From Home, as well as production designer on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, additional photography, and the upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine.

While promoting his new movie Dune: Part 2 in an interview with ColliderBrolin was asked if he was in Deadpool 3 and if not, why, though Brolin gave a strange answer.
