Ryan Gosling goes underground: partial closure of the M4 tunnel for filming

After closing the Sydney Harbor Bridge last month, Ryan Gosling is back for more.

Filming the latest movie of the Hollywood star The autumn man is expected to cause minor traffic delays on Monday evening when part of the M4 tunnel closes.

NSW Transport has informed motorists that the eastbound lanes of the M4 tunnel between Homebush Bay Drive and Parramatta Road in Ashfield will be closed from 9pm to 4am during filming.

The M4 motorway eastbound from Concord Road is also closed during these times, as is the M4 motorway eastbound to Homebush Bay Drive. Traffic is diverted onto Parramatta Road via the Marlborough Road loop.

Motorists traveling west will not be affected.

Gosling took part in a shoot on Sydney’s Harbor Bridge on January 22, performing his own stunts, captured exclusively by Nine New cameras. In November 2022, Martin Place was also closed for withdrawals.

The autumn mana film adaptation of a 1980s television series, has received a $30 million grant from the federal government and nearly $14.2 million from the state government as part of the Made in NSW fund.
