Ryan Garcia has offered to replace Mike Tyson for his next fight against Jake Paul after the heavyweight legend suffered a health scare during a flight.
The 57-year-old man felt nauseous and dizzy, forcing airline staff to ask passengers if there was a doctor on board. Paramedics finally boarded the plane to treat Tyson after he landed in Los Angeles.
There were less than two to go before the boxing legend fought YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul in Texas.
They are scheduled to face off in a controversial fight, streaming on Netflix, on July 20 at the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Tyson’s scare sparked concerns over whether the fight would still take place and now Garcia has offered to intervene, despite his ongoing banned substances scandal.

Ryan Garcia has offered to step in if the heavyweight icon can’t fight Jake Paul next month.
“If you want to fight, if Mike can’t do it, let me know and I will replace him,” Garcia told Paul in a private message he shared on social media on Monday.
Paul insisted that “nothing” had changed regarding his fight with Tyson. “You love to make shit up before you know the data on clicks/likes,” he said Monday.
Tyson’s representatives insisted the former heavyweight champion is “doing very well” after “an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing.”
Garcia has been embroiled in scandal in recent weeks, after he upset Devin Haney only to test positive for a banned substance.
Haney’s father and trainer, Bill Haney, has called for the troubled fighter to receive a lifetime ban from boxing after he tested positive for ostarine.
Testing took place the day before and the day of the fight in Brooklyn. Garcia denies any wrongdoing.
Tyson’s scare came just two months before the boxing legend fights Paul in Dallas.
