Coleen Nolan has praised her close friend Ruth Langsford for her “dignified” attitude since her split from husband Eamonn Holmes.
Ruth, 64, split from the presenter, also 64, in May after 14 years of marriage, and Eamonn was spotted getting PDA-y with new girlfriend Katie Alexander, 42, in Ibiza last week.
Ruth returned to her ITV show Loose Women last week after a four-month absence, and her co-star Coleen has now praised how well her friend is handling it all.
“What I can say from a friend’s point of view is that I’ve never met anyone who has handled anything with such dignity and pride,” said Coleen, who has been through two divorces.

He added: “She’s quite the lady, more of a lady than I’ll ever be, I would have told her everything right now.”
“I’ve given him advice but he doesn’t listen to me, I say to him, ‘How can you not say anything?’ But I don’t need to give him advice,” she revealed to Woman magazine.
