“I’m looking forward to seeing the girls clearly at a social distance again. It feels good to be back. “

Loose Women returned to TV last week after a six-week hiatus due to the current health crisis.

Earlier this month, the network shared behind-the-scenes footage of the panelists during the rehearsal, applying social distance measures in accordance with government guidelines amid COVID-19.

The long-running panel show, traditionally filmed live for a busy studio audience, was taken off the air in March.

There is no studio audience and some necessary additional adjustments to the usual format.

With the country locked in the near future and social distance still being advised, three panelists are on the studio desk, a fourth of which will appear from home via a video link.

Those in the studio will be an appropriate distance apart.

In addition to current topics, the recurring show will also focus on mental health issues as part of their award-winning Lighten the Load campaign.

Andrea McLean said, ‘Loose Women has been part of my life for thirteen years, so suddenly not having a meeting with my friends, catching up on a latte and hearing the latest news about what’s going on in their lives was really weird .
