The boss of the feared Russian mercenary group Wagner has called for the son-in-law of Russia’s defense minister to be raped or ‘give the sledgehammer’.
Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin threatened that his men would bring Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu’s 33-year-old son-in-law, Alexey Stolyarov, to him so that he could be trained to fight in Ukraine.
Prigozhin said the fitness influencer could be “raped” or face the infamous “sledgehammer” execution Wagner used to kill defectors as the bitter rift between Vladimir Putin’s best military cronies spirals out of control.
The Wagner chief, like General Shoigu, is a close friend of Putin, but the two men dislike each other.
Prigozhin demanded that Stolyarov – who avoided military service and is the partner of Shoigu’s 32-year-old daughter Ksenia Shoigu – be trained for war.

“I can give instructions on what to do – it is necessary to catch Stolyarov and bring it to me,” said Prigozhin.
“I’m going to train him for six weeks. I will help him improve by sending him to combat operations. He can be (raped) for that.’
Prigozhin also ranted that “we should pick up a sledgehammer and deal with it in an adult way, without humor.”
At least one convicted murderer Yevgeny Nuzhin, 55, was bludgeoned to death with a sledgehammer for leaving Wagner’s front line, and there are reports of more examples.
Prigozhin has been furious with the defense minister, especially over the slow delivery of ammunition and weapons to his armed forces, which consist of volunteers and convicts released to fight for Putin. He has labeled such shortcomings as betrayal.
It is believed that Prigozhin wants General Shoigu fired amid rumors that he himself craves the Defense Secretary job.
He has also attacked Ksenia Shoigu for enjoying vacations in Dubai as the war rages in Ukraine. She was also seen with Stolyarov on a Black Sea beach.
Meanwhile, Stolyarov was recently seen hiking in Africa, even though many men his age have been forced to fight and die in Ukraine by his father-in-law.

The influencer, who has 4.2 million subscribers on YouTube and three-quarters of a million on Instagram, was overwhelmed by a wave of negative reactions to his African adventure.
Stolyarov claimed he was unfairly attacked by Prigozhin for “liking” an opposition social media post that read, “It’s been exactly one year since Putin and his entourage unleashed a bloody and senseless war.”
The YouTuber said he was also falsely accused of labeling a woman as “Z-trash” and telling her to go to war.
“I didn’t like anything and didn’t write anything to anyone,” said Stolyarov.

Prigozhin’s attack on Shoigu’s son-in-law is clearly aimed at hurting the defense minister.
Dubbed “Putin’s chef,” Prigozhin, who once provided catering services to the Kremlin, last week accused Shoigu of starving his fighters in Ukraine of ammunition, which he says amounts to an attempt to “destroy” the force .
Raising his voice, Prigozhin said that Shoigu and Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov are issuing orders “left and right” not to supply Wagner with ammunition or air transport. The company has been involved in heavy fighting in eastern Ukraine.

This “can be compared to high treason when Wagner fights for Bakhmut and loses hundreds of fighters every day,” Prigozhin said.
Millionaire Prigozhin and his fighters have been claiming for weeks that the army is not supplying them with enough ammunition. Wagner’s attempt to take over Bakhmut, a city in Ukraine’s partially occupied eastern Donetsk region, has stalled and turned into an uphill battle.
Shoigu later released weapons and ammunition to Wagner after Prigozhin’s diatribe.
Still, the episode shows the toxic warring relationships between the commanders that Putin relies on for military success.
