Russell Brand has reportedly made more than £1.2million filming himself ranting at the Rumble after being removed from YouTube.

The comedian, 49, was charged with rape, assault and emotional abuse as part of a joint investigation by Channel 4 show Dispatches, The Times and Sunday Times last year.

He has strongly denied all allegations about his behavior which allegedly took place at the height of his fame between 2006 and 2013.

Brand began posting videos on Rumble after YouTube cut him off when the allegations surfaced.

The star uploads bizarre conspiracy theories about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, as well as anti-vaccine videos.

Since beginning his journey with spirituality, Brand also recites passages from the Bible and speaks about his religious faith.

His videos have been viewed 160 million times since September 2023 on the platform, where top earners reportedly earn around £8 per 1,000 views.

A source said The mirror: “Russell Brand is making money by posting these weird videos on Rumble.”

They added: “It has been a very lucrative source of income.”

It comes as the Metropolitan Police confirmed that the investigation into rape allegations continues, more than a year after it began.

Brand’s conversion to Christianity continued last month as he interpreted the Bible and performed a baptism in his underwear.

The star was seen standing in a lake with two other men, one of whom was also wearing nothing but his boxers as they performed the religious practice.

Brand posted the photos on social media accompanied by the caption: “It may seem a little early to be baptizing people, but the Apostles did it on the first day, so here we are.”

Since December 2023, the comedian has published several posts in which he discusses his growing relationship with Christianity.

Last month he uploaded a video interpreting the Bible, in which he expressed his gratitude for God’s sacrifice.
