Russell Brand could face charges over alleged historic sex offenses following a 13-month investigation in which police questioned the comedian three times.

Brand was interviewed under caution for the first time on November 16, 2023 for three reports of sexual offenses after voluntarily attending a police station.

Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy of the Metropolitan Police said: “Our investigation continues and a file has been passed to the CPS.”
