Microsoft has focused in recent Xbox conferences on reviewing upcoming projects within 12 months as a maximum, and while we are several weeks away from the Xbox Games Showcase conference in June, the latest rumors say that the company has decided to change this strategy.
Speaking recently to Xbox Two podcastjournalist Jez Corden said that based on some games he’s heard will be shown at the Xbox Games Showcase event in June, Microsoft will abandon the strategy of showing off upcoming games within a year at the most.
“Some of the games that I’ve heard are going to be at the convention will definitely make it past the 12-month window,” Corden said.
It is noteworthy that the Xbox Games Showcase conference will start on June 12th.
