Rumour: The PS5 Pro is coming to some first-party developers soon.. | -WhatsNew2Day

Earlier this year, the journalist and the leaker confirmed Tom Henderson Sony is working on the PS5 Pro, which is an advanced version of the current model, which is supposed to be released in the upcoming holiday season of 2024.

In a new report published by the site Insider Gaming Tom Henderson confirmed through him that he has 100% confirmed information that the PS5 Pro is under development, indicating that the developer version of it, Devkits, will reach first-party studios during the next few months, while it will reach third-party developers at the end of this year.

PS5 Pro is not the only device that Sony is working on!

Earlier this year, we got several reports talking about the existence of a new model of the Playstation 5 device with a detachable disc drive, which will be released later this year. While some rumors indicated that there is also a portable PlayStation device based on Remote Play technology, with a PlayStation 5 in production that will be revealed soon.

Until the moment of writing this report, Sony has not shared with us any details about the future of the PlayStation 5 platform, whether in terms of issuing different versions or even updating the library of upcoming games, of which only the upcoming Spider-Man 2 game remains before the end of this year.

The PlayStation may hold a special event that is expected to take place during the current month of May, or it may be delayed until next June, through which it will reveal various PlayStation projects, whether at the level of games or new devices.

The same source confirmed that Sony started producing the improved Pro version last April. It seems that this device will come after the Japanese company’s clear intention to reduce the size of the PS5.

All this comes from the famous leaker Henderson, as he discusses developments at PlayStation regarding the current generation. He says he hopes we’ll have more news about the PS5 Pro by the end of the month. While all the leaks clearly indicate that we will not know much about the last model of the platform until 2024. This indicates that we have stayed with the current model for a good while.

Do you think Sony will launch a “Pro” version of the current generation device before its end, or do you think that it will suffice with marketing the current model, especially since the developers have not yet reached the full capacity of the device in their new projects?
