Leaker Tom Henderson claimed in a previous report that Sony is working on the PS5 Pro, and that the most powerful alternative to the current generation platform targets a launch date in the 2024 holiday, and according to the latest rumors, the development kit for the new device will arrive at PlayStation Studios soon.
Leaked V said New report that the PS5 Pro is currently “100%” in the works, and that the development kit for the first prototype of the platform will be sent to first-party PlayStation studios within the next two months, while it will reach third-party studios by the end of this year.
Previous reports had talked about the PS5 with a detachable drive, where the new model is known internally as D, and it will be similar to the current platform, while the only difference lies in the detachable drive, which can be connected through the USB-C port on the back of the device. And besides the new PS5 being sold separately, there will be a bundle that includes the disc drive as well.
