Firm confirmed WB Games Mortal Kombat 12 will be released sometime this year, and while we await the official reveal, it looks like the game will continue its policy of bringing in popular characters from movies and games as playable fighters.
According to hints recently posted on Twitter By Journalist Jez Corden DC’s Peacemaker and Homelander from The Boys could appear in Mortal Kombat 12 as guests, it remains to be seen if they will be available from day one, or as paid DLC after release, after these hints are confirmed naturally.
The journalist said it bluntly after a fan praised DC’s Peacemaker, saying he’s one of the best characters. Jez confirms that it will be released in a fighting game without mentioning the name of the game, but it is clearly a hint of MK12.
Would be cool if he was playable in an upcoming fighting game.

It is noteworthy that the Netherrealm team, developer of the series, through creative director Ed Boone, had revealed the first teaser of Mortal Comics 12, which proves that it will soon be revealed and announced, perhaps in an upcoming event.
Mortal Kombat 12 will be launched in the same year as another awaited fighting game, Street Fighter 6. This makes 2023 a special year for fighting game lovers, especially if Tekken 8 was released this year as well.
