The Prince and Princess of Wales gave a behind-the-scenes look at their meetings with the rugby teams of Wales and England yesterday.
Prince William, 40, and Kate, 41, dressed in a recycled red and white Catherine Walker houndstooth coat, watched the two groups battle it out in a Six Nations clash at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium yesterday.
After the game, the royal couple spoke to the two teams in their dressing rooms, sharing photos of the encounters with the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Twitter accounts this afternoon.
Footage shows William talking to members of the Welsh team, while a beaming Kate poses for a photo with an England rugby player and talks to the victorious players.

For yesterday’s outing, the Princess of Wales opted for a tailored coat by royal favorite Catherine Walker, which she first debuted in 2018 on a trip to Sweden.
She paired the garment with a black turtleneck dress and thick tights to fend off the February chill. Black suede ankle boots completed the look.
The Princess of Wales also carried a small, cream handbag and a pair of black, leather-like gloves that she later wore when she went to the stands for the rugby.
Mum of three, Kate cheered her team to victory as she watched England’s match with Wales supporter William.
Kate, a patron of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and Rugby Football League (RFL), and William, who has been a patron of the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) since 2016, were in high spirits at the event.
But it was Kate who boasted after her team triumphed against their rivals, with England 20-10 to Wales as the final siren sounded.
The famously competitive royal couple sat in the stands of Principality Stadium to cheer on their respective teams in their Six Nations tie.
In a post on Twitter that was translated into both English and Welsh during the game, the pair said: ‘What a great rugby half! Bring on the next 40 minutes.’

Kate took over the Rugby roles from her brother-in-law Prince Harry, who enjoyed cheering on England before being forced to relinquish patronage as part of the Megxit deal.
The Princess of Wales, who grew up watching rugby with her family, is known as one of the sportiest members of the royal family and has brutalized her husband in everything from dragon boating to wind buggy races at royal engagements.
Playing tennis and hockey from a young age, she is already a royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and a frequent visitor to the Wimbledon Championships.
Less known is her love for rugby. Her sister, Pippa, wrote in Vanity Fair magazine in 2014: “Rugby was important to our family, we planned our weekends around the big games.”
The couple has long been seen at matches cheering on their respective teams together.

They were seen at a match in Twickenham last year with their son Prince George, while also known to attend with Prince Harry over the years.
Saturday’s match was only given the green light three days before kick-off after Welsh players called off the strike action when a series of contractual disputes with their Welsh rugby bosses were agreed.
“Hopefully we will never be in this situation again,” said Wales captain Ken Owens. “The biggest positive we can take from all of this is how united the players have been and how strongly we have supported each other.
“A lot of us senior players in Welsh rugby have been through this before. It certainly stimulated us and that is evident from the unity of the actions taken.’

It was the first rugby match the royals had attended in person since becoming the Prince and Princess of Wales
