Rudy Giuliani smiles and looks toward the camera in his mugshot in the Arizona “false electors” case that was released Monday.

The 80-year-old posed for his booking photo after he was indicted in Maricopa County for allegedly pressuring election officials to change the results of the 2020 election.

It is Giuliani’s second mugshot, after he was also charged in August 2023 with voter fraud in Fulton County along with Donald Trump.

‘America’s Mayor’ pleaded not guilty to nine charges against him after appearing in court virtually for a hearing on May 21, where a judge threatened to silence him.

Giuliani rose to global fame as mayor of New York City on 9/11. In recent years he has become known as Donald Trump’s personal lawyer and a key adviser in his efforts to remain in power after the 2020 election.

During the hearing, the judge gave Giuliani 30 days to turn himself in and be arrested.

It also allowed the cash-strapped defendant who filed for bankruptcy to provide secured bail in that amount.

His reprimand came as Giuliani attacked the allegation against him and highlighted financial difficulties while noting that he had repeatedly shown up for court appearances.

“I have been sued about 20 or 25 times for a movement very similar to this, which is, let’s see what we can do to destroy Donald Trump,” Giuliani complained in his online appearance.

“I consider this accusation to be a complete embarrassment to the American legal system, but I have not shown any tendency to not comply.”

He was notified of his indictment in the Arizona ‘fake electors’ case while celebrating his 80th birthday with MAGA allies, including Roger Stone and Steve Bannon, in Palm Beach last month.

“The mayor didn’t flinch at all and even laughed when they handed him the papers and he left,” said one outraged aide.

“Guests were visibly angry as they shouted at people serving the former mayor.”

Some ended up crying, the source said, as if it was all part of an effort to humiliate and intimidate Giuliani and his friends.

Previously, Giuliani mocked party officials in Arizona, posting on X that they were running out of time to brief him on the case.

Prosecutors had been trying for weeks to send official notice that he was due in court on May 21.

Giuliani spokesman Ted Goodman said the former New York mayor was unfazed by the episode.

“He enjoyed an incredible evening with hundreds of people who love him, from all walks of life, and we hope for vindication soon,” he said.

Several members of Trump’s inner circle have been charged in the Arizona case.

They include his former White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, legal counsel Boris Epshteyn and former campaign aide Mike Roman.

Trump himself is not named in the indictment, but is believed to be “Unindicted Co-Conspirator 1.”

“In Arizona and the United States, the people elected Joseph Biden as president on November 3, 2020,” the indictment reads.

‘Unwilling to accept this fact, the defendants and unindicted co-conspirators planned to prevent the legal transfer of the presidency to keep unindicted co-conspirator 1 in office against the will of Arizona voters.’
