Ruby Tuesday Matthews has shocked her fans by revealing the costly consequences of her vermin problem.
The Byron Bay influencer took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday to show that her $790 Gucci mules had been destroyed by rats in her closet.
“I’m crying Gucci tears,” the mother of three captioned the post.
“The rats ripped out all the hair,” Ruby, 30, said in the video, before showing her fans the destroyed shoes.
He also revealed that a rat trap left in the closet had not caught a single rodent, before joking that he should have left a Gucci mule there as bait.

The post comes after Ruby earlier this month revealed she is trying to “gain weight” in a post about her workout routine.
The controversial influencer took to Instagram to encourage her followers to move their bodies.
Ruby, known for her candid posts and lifestyle advice, wrote a very detailed description of her own struggles finding time to exercise, along with a selfie in a football shirt and gray shorts.
“I can’t move my body much every day other than chasing little kids…and I don’t do cardio because I’m currently trying to gain some weight,” she wrote.
‘I love starting my morning with stretching and if I can do some reform (Pilates) for about 20 minutes… I’m grateful for this body and I feel so much better when I spend 20 minutes moving it slowly and gently.’

Ruby also assured her followers that they don’t have to ‘be in a gym or run on a treadmill.’
‘Take your time, when the kids are watching TV or playing outside, start slow: Youtube ‘floor’, ‘Pilates’ or ‘stretching’. You feel much better,’ the influencer advised.
‘No need to buy an expensive plan. YouTube has a lot to offer for free. You just have to listen to the damn ads.
In the same post, Ruby also confessed that she had stopped drinking alcohol.
‘This year I haven’t had a single alcoholic drink. “It wasn’t a New Year’s resolution or anything, I just don’t feel like alcohol has a purpose for me,” she wrote.
