Ruben Amorim has warned of trouble ahead for his team Manchester United, saying: “The storm will come.”
Amorim has two wins and a draw in his three games as United’s new manager ahead of tonight’s (Wednesday) clash against Arsenal at the Emirates.
But the Portuguese manager predicts United will hit a rough patch as he attempts to turn the club around mid-season.
“I would like to say different things, but I have to say it again: the storm will come,” Amorim said.
‘We are going to have difficult moments and in some games we will discover ourselves. I know this because I know my players, I know football and I follow football.
“I know it’s very difficult to be a Manchester United manager and say these things. We want to win all the time, no matter what, but we know we’re at a different point compared to Arsenal.”

United remain undefeated since Amorim’s arrival and try to close the gap with the top four
Amorim admires the work Mikel Arteta has done but claimed he has less time to make an impact at United.
“I think what he has been doing at Arsenal is amazing. He transformed the team,” he added.
“But we have to recognize that Manchester United is a little different. All the attention, all the time. So I know that sometimes it is not possible to have all that time.
“So we’ll try to do things a little faster knowing there’s massive attention and judgment here every day.”
