The footage showed the man leading what appeared to be a small bulldog on a leash as they walked down the street.

The unidentified owner is seen crouching down as the pet refuses to move, saying, “Come on, no, come here.”

He then smacks the pup five times before yelling, ‘Move over.’

In the harrowing 23-second clip, the helpless animal can be heard crying and moaning.

A doorbell camera caught the man slapping a puppy five times and pulling on the leash.

The mysterious man disappears from sight, but reappears walking in the opposite direction with the dog.

Then he goes on a sulky tirade and says, ‘I don’t want him, I don’t want him anymore, he can go fuck himself.

A shocked member of the public wrote on social media: ‘NAME AND SHAME and make him stop having dogs, if he does this in broad daylight in public imagine behind closed doors.
