The Prince and Princess of Wales appear to be avid television fans and have watched a range of shows over the years.

Harry revealed in his book Spare that the couple were “religious” viewers of Suits, a legal drama that Meghan previously starred in.

When he told them he was dating Meghan, who played Rachel Zane, he wrote how “their jaws dropped” in shock.

Another of the couple’s Netflix favorites is Killing Eve, and William said he saw the show when he opened the BAFTAs London venue and launched the Behind the Screens exhibition.

He also gave a speech during the visit, saying, “I felt quite underdressed standing in front of those Killing Eve costumes.”

The Prince and Princess also enjoy the hit drama series Game Of Thrones and even met one of the stars in 2017.

They chatted with German actor Tom Wlaschiha, who played Jaqen H’ghar at an event in Berlin, and asked him about spoilers.

“They said they really liked Game Of Thrones and have seen every series,” says Tom, 44. “They wanted spoilers but I said I couldn’t tell them. I’m surprised they have time to watch such a long-running series.’

The couple revealed their love for the show earlier that year when they told Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills they enjoyed watching the box sets and were given a takeaway curry.

During an episode of Meghan’s podcast Archetypes, she chatted with American television host Andy Cohen about how she had been a fan of The Real Housewives.

She added that she stopped watching the reality show when her own life became “more dramatic.” Some assumed this was a reference to her joining the royal family.

Andy asked, “I guess the million dollar question is, do you still watch The Housewives? This is what we really wanted to know.’

To which Meghan replied, “Well, I’ll tell you the truth. I stopped watching The Housewives when my life had its own drama.

“That I stopped…” Cohen finished her sentence with the words: “longing for other people’s (drama).”

Harry and Meghan also enjoy some shows together, including the American quiz show Jeopardy.

The prince told James Corden’s The Late, Late Show in 2021: ‘Meg might cook a meal, we might order takeout, go upstairs, sit in bed, turn on the TV, watch some Jeopardy, maybe watch a little Netflix . ‘

Queen Camille

Earlier this year, Camilla revealed she watched ‘a lot’ of the first series of Bridgerton when she attended the Chelsea Flower Show in London in May.

The period drama features passionate romantic scenes that led to it being dubbed ‘Bonkerton’, but also features themes of luxury and high society.

Camilla toured a Bridgerton-themed garden designed by Holly Johnston.

According to the king’s former communications director, the queen also watched The Crown.

In addition to historical dramas, Camilla is a super fan of the world’s longest running soap opera, the radio show The Archers.

She even invited actress June Spencer and her co-stars to Clarence House for a reception to celebrate the show’s 70th anniversary in 2021.

When June Spencer passed away in November, Camilla paid her respects in a statement on social media.

She said: ‘For more than 70 years, June Spencer was a much-loved part of so many people’s lives, brilliantly combining the roles of reassuring matriarch and ‘gangsta grandma’ in Peggy Woolley.

“She will be greatly missed and I send my sincere condolences to her family.”

Camilla is also a big fan of Danish crime drama The Killing and even visited the set near Copenhagen in 2012.

The Mail reported at the time how Camilla admitted: ‘I’m addicted. I’m so excited about this.’

She had managed to squeeze in a visit during her eight-day tour of Scandinavia with Charles.

The Queen

The late Queen Elizabeth also found time to turn on the television and watch her favorite shows.

Daily Mail’s John McEntee previously wrote that she enjoyed quiz show Pointless and loved watching Antiques Road Show.

“Her Majesty’s diary always stops for her afternoon cup of tea in her private sitting room and it is now common for Pointless to be on television,” a courtier previously revealed.

The King

Charles is known for his love of the outdoors and still seems to find time to curl up in front of the television and watch a show.

During a visit to Cornwall in 2018, he visited Bookends bookshop in Fowey with Camilla and revealed he is watching Poldark.

After discovering novels by Poldark writer Winston Graham, Charles told owners Ann and David Willmore: ‘What I can’t get out of watching this Poldark stuff on the telly is how many he’s written.’
